Common Threads Music and Craft will be held from February 11-15, 2027 at Shepherds Spring Retreat Center in Sharpsburg, MD.

Your registration covers tuition and craft supplies/equipment for four class periods per day for three days of classes, plus evening activities; as well as room and board at Shepherd’s Spring.

Room and board covers dinner on Thursday after arrival, all meals for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and breakfast on Monday before departure.

Rooms in the Lodge are hotel-style, with a private attached bathroom. These are single or double occupancy (single occupancy space is limited!). Triple occupancy is possible for a reduced rate upon request – please inquire for details. Some rooms have a double bed and some have two twin beds; many also have pull-out futons. If you are attending with a spouse and would prefer a double bed, please let us know! Likewise, if you would like to request a specific roommate in a room with separate beds, let us know!

Tent or RV camping can also be accommodated upon inquiry, but bear in mind that it will be February!

Day Student rates are available for those who live nearby or prefer to stay off-site during the event. The day student fee includes tuition and supplies, plus lunch and dinner at Shepherds Spring from Thursday evening through Sunday evening so that you can fully participate with the rest of the group.

Work Study: We have one work-study scholarship available, for $350 off the registration cost. Duties include helping us move chairs/tables and otherwise helping with room setup and cleanup, helping us set up the silent auction, check-in and/or check-out as needed, and being available to run an errand or two into town if necessary.
